Buyers Spotlight: Vital Energy

After transforming from Laredo Petroleum into Vital Energy at the beginning of the year, the expanded Vital is now growing in the Permian Basin with a rapid buying spree earlier this month. Vital will add nearly 53,000 net acres and 248 million barrels of oil equivalent in both the Delaware and Midland basins from three acquisitions with affiliates of Henry Energy, Tall City and Maple Energy for a combined $1.165 billion.
